This is the fastest way to reach me and the only way to book. I read everything myself and reply within one business day, usually sooner. If you have not heard back in two days, your message is in a spam folder somewhere; try Instagram.
Good for a quick question or to see recent work. Bookings still go through email so there is a written record of what we agreed.
What to put in the message
You do not need to write an essay. Four things help:
- What kind of session: portrait, fine art nude, headshots, editorial, brand campaign, beauty or model digitals. If you are not sure, describe it and I will tell you.
- Roughly when. A month is fine. A specific date is better.
- Where the photographs will be used: a wall, a website, a magazine, a campaign. This changes how I shoot and, for commercial work, the licence.
- Anything you are nervous about. Everyone has something. Knowing it in advance makes the day easier.
I will come back with availability, a clear quote, and a suggestion or two. The pricing page tells you what to expect before you write.
Where I am
Salt Lake City, Utah. Studio sessions are downtown. I shoot on location across the valley, in Park City and the Wasatch Back, out on the salt flats and in southern Utah, and I travel out of state several times a year. The Salt Lake City, Park City and Utah pages have detail on each.
For privacy reasons I do not publish the studio address here. You receive it with your booking confirmation.
Lead times
Headshots and digitals can usually happen within a week. Portrait and fine art sessions book two to four weeks out. Editorial and campaign work depends entirely on the scope; I have turned covers around in three days and planned campaigns over three months. Sunrise sessions on the salt flats are seasonal and I will tell you the good windows.
For press and publications
