Notes from a working photographer in Utah
Journal
Things I have learned in fifteen years of photographing people in Utah, written down so I stop repeating them in emails. Locations, permits, what to wear, what to expect, and a few opinions.

Most of what is here started as an answer to a client question. Where should we shoot? Do we need a permit for the salt flats? What do I wear for a black and white portrait? What actually happens at a fine art session? I would write a long reply, and then write it again for the next person. Now I write it once, here.
New pieces roughly monthly. If you have a question that is not answered, email it and it may become the next one.
